First Scoop

It snowed earlier this Fall. Snow covered the grass and melted within a few hours. That’s my kind of snow.

This morning a little before 6:00 I took the 'official' first scoop of the ’08 – ’09 season. The gray stuff is concrete – it is suppose to be there.

It’s going to be a long winter. I’m going to hibernate, see you in the Spring.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. And it hasn't even snowed here yet.

Neither of us can shovel snow because of our heart conditions. Glad to see that you can. We'll be calling you soon:)

No snow here yet but some heavy frost in the mornings. I'm not eager for the snow to come either. I don't really mind it the first day or two but after that it's just cold, wet and nasty!

I know exactly how you feel. Really, the snow isn't so bad...it's the dadgum cold windy miserable wet weather that I hate.

I can hardly wait till Spring arrives.

Well, Ralph, don't stop there! There is a whole walk to the side walk, the side walk, and driveway to scoop!
My BIL has the neighbors thinking he is too old to shovel. They bring their snow blowers over and do that.
We did a better trick, moved south.

I haven't had enough snow to shovel yet this year... maybe it won't come (do not burst my bubble please).

Ah Ralph, go ahead and just confess that you love the stuff! I heard on the weather channel yesterday that it was 70 in Denver and then dropped to 6. Good grief! What a change! It's about 20 here today and snow flurries. We seldom have scooping snow.

Hibernating is good. Enjoy!

I hope you packed on enough body fat to get you through a winter of hibernation.
Scoop away!
I hope to do NO scooping whatsoever this winter.
I'm hoping Mr. Snow is afraid of me and won't come visiting.
