Political Signs

Lately, here in Colorado, we have been bombarded with politics. Some state races and state ballot amendments are really heating up. Because of that, there has been an increase in mass mailings, phone calls, and television advertisements.

Both sides are now starting to make statements like, “That’s what we said but what we meant was. . .”

It’s like the sign below.

Hi Ralph, I liked your sad fire story. I sure am glad those town people had a lot of respect for you guys. And I hope they rebuilt.

That is my hope for the four million displaced around Houston/Galveston is that they will stay and rebuild. For sure they can't put up a 'For Sale' sign like you have in Denver. There won't be many homes sold for a decent price there for a couple of years.

We just lost electricity and have it back now. We will go home this weekend from our daughter's home west of town.
..
I won't comment on the political reason for those signs. BTW, we don't have much politicing in the general elections, it is all a done deal after the primaries are over.

That's a weird sign.

Know what you mean. We are about to be bombarded with local political literature. I don't read it. Right into the recycling. It only tells us what they think we want to hear, no real facts.

I hate those automated phone calls you get wanting you to vote for so and so. I hang up as fast as I can and it makes me like that candidate less.

Ralph ~ They are going to give EVERYONE what ever they want... and all of us who just happen to be working get to pay for it for THEM! I only wish this was a JOKE! ~ jb///
