48 Hours

This time of year forty-eight hours can make a lot of difference. The first picture was taken Thursday morning. Over nineteen inches of snow was piled on that table. The second picture is the same table Saturday morning. Friday and Saturday the temperature was in the fifties.

I was thinking about all my Colorado friends and family when I started hearing about the snow. I think it all came here as rain. Glad you made it through okay. It's nice and warm here today.

Now that's the kind of snow I can tolerate: 19-20" one day and gone by the snap of a finger in less than two days. I wouldn't care if it did that all winter long. It's the darn snow that lingers forever due to freezing weather that drives me nuts.

I like the second picture best.

I think all this wondrous weather is because the Yankees won the World Series. The last few days have been real nice here. 75 degrees, clear and sunny is forecast for today (Friday). But only 79 tomorrow.

Not a pretty sight when traveling. We're not going home through Colorado. However we drove through a mild blizzard in New Mexico on our way here.
