So many children are suffering from a lack of lessons at home. My son once asked me why I "cursed him with a conscience" because none of his friends seemed to worry about the consequences of their actions or how they might effect others.
Oh Ralph, I had to come back and share this with you. I read it over at About Grandparents on Grand kids say the darndest things:
"A friend who is a Baptist minister and single was being grilled by family members about a recent date. His sister's 9-year-old stepson stepped into the fray, admonishing the group to back off, then saying, "There are only two questions that matter: First, is she a Christian? And second, is she hot?"
Granny Annie - There are only two questions that matter statement made me bust out laughing. Thanks for sharing that.
Ralph
It breaks my heart to see what is going on with our children in this country. No respect, no religious upbringing, just a lack of everything we were brought up with. And they wonder why there are so many killings. No respect for life. It makes me sick to see what we have come to these days.
