Truth in Advertising
Last Saturday we stopped by a historical site. The gift shop was several hundred feet away but it was hot and we decided to go in to look around and cool off. I noticed a brass plaque when entering the store. In case you can't read it says," On this site in 1892 nothing happened".

I can read the sign and I think it says "1897" instead of "1892," but I guess nothing happened on this site then either, right?
And which historical site did you go too? Just random curiosity!!!
Astrid - you are right on the date it is 1897 - nothing happened. The site was Lookout Mtn in Colorado - one of the places Buffalo Bill is suppose to be buried at.
