Up's and Down's

Well, it is raining in Colorado. It started last night. It rained most of the night and it is still coming down hard. The downside of the rain is the concrete that was to be poured in our backyard today will be postponed until at least Monday. Also, there will be no golf this weekend.

The upside is – you don’t have to shovel rain.

We have been hit by tons of rain. Pour old Scragend is outside trying to keep on track with the bbq and patio. He is putting cultured stone on today. The sun keeps peeping out.

The snow comment made me laugh.

Take care xx

I like rain and LOVE booming thunderstorms. Fredrick Douglass used wonderful allegory in speaking of " .... people who want crops without ploughing the ground; they want rain without thunder and lightning; they want the ocean without the roar of its many waters."

Ralph, remember jumping in puddles when you were a kid?

Apparently you have quit doing snow dances and are now doing rain dances. Make up your mind Ralph!!!

Sunny and very warm here today, around 80 or more! Not that I'm rubbing it in or anything.......

Ralph,
We're pretty saturated here. Flooding on White River about 30 miles east. It's sunny and 80 degrees here today. More rain later this week.

We got your rain last night. Neither Adi nor Amber wanted to get out of the car. They are dumb animals, they don't know much about umbrellas.
That means we are back from Nebraska. Cliff was doing good until the lightening storm.
We should be up to 80 F here today.

'don't have to shovel rain!' My but you are such a positive thinking young man!
We've had sun for the past three days and welcome it is, as there is flooding and mud slides everywhere. Septic systems are flooding and backing up in peoples bathrooms. Horrid mess it is! Please Lord, a little dryer in the Pacific Northwest!

Moisture, sex, and cars, sooner or late you're going to have major trouble because of one or all of them.

hope that you have gotten that concrete poured by now, Ralph. Here we had a great day on tuesday, 72 degrees, yes, farenheight, but today it is in the 50's. Still it is beautiful, I can hang wash and all! Love that springtime wash that has been blown dry by the breeze!
