I Voted

I have voted in the 2008 election. We use mail in ballots.

Since I have voted, they can stop with the junk mail, phone calls, and television commercials. My ballot has been cast. My mind cannot be changed.

This year’s Presidential election reminds me of buying spaghetti sauce. There are sixteen parties with Presidential candidates. You have the two main ones, Prego and Ragu. But, you also have choices with the Constitution, Libertarian, Green, HeartQuake ’08, Prohibition, Socialist Workers, Boston Tea, America’s Independent, Socialism and Liberation, U.S. Pacifist, Unaffiliated, Socialist USA, another Unaffiliated, and the Objectivist parties.

Surprisingly there is no place to write in a candidate. Otherwise, the Morrow – Campbell team who are running on the Forest and Farm ticket would have gotten my vote. I like their platform, “Harvesting the Past, Planting for the Future.”

That platform is really much more mature than our first one. "You can't drink all day unless you start early."

Like a true Presidential politician - you thought your statement was so profound you had to repeat it.

It's a dang shame you two didn't run this year. I think you two coulda done well compared to the sad lot we've got to choose from. I'll just have to hold my nose and pull a lever.

Ralph ~ Actually the "Farm & Forest Party" would probably do at least as well as the Prago and Ragu parties have done to help out the U.S. economy lately! Where do I put my "WRITE-IN?" ~ jb///

Well now if you two had been running - you would have definitely had my vote. So far it is the only campaign slogan that is totally honest!
Um, need a secty of state? I graduated from high school in the Middle East - Lots of foreign experience... my Dad used to say I had a bit too much foreign experience. My brother and I've been grounded in more countries than Sarah Palin has even heard of - but no doubt she thinks she might be able to see them from on top of Denali... Anyway, let me know - we will celebrate over Prime rib. (just save a bite for the cat...)

The Marrow/Campbell ticket sounds fine to me, you two couldn't be any worse than the bozo's they have running right now.....If you two ran the county as good as you did blogstock, we would be in better shape.

Did you say "The Farm and Forest Potty"? It's got to be good, if you can leave all your crap out in the middle of nowhere where no one will ever see it again....

You've got my vote.

I'd vote for the Morrow-Campbell ticket in a heartbeat!!

As it is, the McPalin ticket will get my vote on Nov. 4th.

God bless America!!
We need it.

It would be so nice if they would stop with the ads.

You know, if we could figure out a way to restrict campaign ads so that only people who can vote but don't were subjected to them... we'd have more peace for ourselves and greater voter turnout so that they could get themselves free of future campaign ads.

Ralph - I'm learning a lot working in government. Especially dealing with election commission... Let me just say that you "think" you voted...
