Pet Peeve

One week this month, I drove 1,900 miles. That is a lot for me. This gave me a lot of time to think. I don’t like to criticize people. Nor, do I like to tell them how to live their life. However, I wish people would spend more money when they buy a vehicle. It seems like these days people are buying cars with just the standard equipment. I wish they would consider getting some of the accessories – like turn signals.

Ralph, In small farm towns, turn indicators are seldom used. Most folks figure you should already know where they're going. "I've been turning there for the past 35 years. You should have known I would turn there today".
Point well taken. cliff

I have an invisable car. As I'm barreling down the road people always pull out in front of me or cross lines of traffic to see if they can get there before I hit them.

My dad bought a Suburban that apparently lacks this bit of equipment. My walk with the Lord has been greatly enhanced zooming through downtown Denver traffic. Good point.

Hi Ralph!
I came here via Christa's blog & I'm smiling. See: :D .I enjoyed this post & your sense of humor.
My kids have always insisted that I *must* walk through dirt to tone down my white tennies or white "motion" (that comfy walking shoe for women)shoes. I never dirty 'em up enough for them, though, so it's yet another way my very existence embarrasses them lol, akin to me actually *ironing* my T-shirts.
