Super Natural Powers

Friday evening I came up with a list of things to accomplish over the weekend. But it was not to be.

Instead, we had several good meals, celebrated a couple of birthdays, and took in a baseball game. I also taught a short course on taking self-portraits similar to this one. No Cliff, alcohol was not involved.

In my spare time I created some magical band-aids and had the opportunity to do my best ever impersonation of two super hero’s. So, this week I’ll just rely upon my super natural powers to complete my projects.

Will Char be making you a cape to wear while you go about your super-heroic tasks? *G*

My suggestion is to delegate the list management to Char. She can then direct the new Super Hero in the proper direction this time.
Who needed the bandaids?

Sounds like you had a very nice week end.

Aravis - I am trying to keep this a family blog. Let's not talk about the cape - okay?
Jim - It's no secret, Char directs the super hero anyway.
Anonymous - Yes, ice cream was involved. Maybe a little to much. I'd like to say I'll try and cut down but really that is part of the fun.
Mountain Mama - It was a very enjoyable weekend. Thanks

Ralph, you look like you are in serious thought in this picture.

Sounds like you had a great weekend even if you didn't get to the things on your list.

Maybe someday I'll get to hear your impersonations of your two super hero's!! Keep practicing in the meantime! :)

I was in real serious thought- I was trying not to laugh.
A lot of things are more important than to do items on my list.
Okay, okay, I'll do my impersonations for you when we meet. I just hope the Superman one doesn't send you over the edge the way it has some people.

Why are you impersonating a super hero. Everyone around Tekamah and my entire family already knows you are one.
I must say this post is a bit esoteric and really funny.

Cliff - I was . . well, wait - I need to get a dictionary.

Ralph, you don't need a dictionary. Just enter esoteric in your Google tool bar and pick the Wikipedia link.
I just then needed to do that and got this:
The term esotericism refers to the doctrines or practices of esoteric knowledge, or otherwise the quality or state of being described as esoteric, or obscure.[1] Esoteric knowledge is that which is specialized or advanced in nature, available only to a narrow circle of "enlightened", "initiated", or highly educated people.[2] Items pertaining to esotericism may be known as esoterica.[3] Some interpretations of esotericism are very broad and include even unconventional and non-scientific belief systems. In contrast, exoteric knowledge is knowledge that is well-known or public.

Your code word was miles long an I figured I got timed out anyway.
So I entered "d" and of course had to redo it.
This time I got something easy, "ibmbb."
..
And if Cliff gets you all worked up and excited, go get calmed at my Wordless Wednesday post on

Ralph, sounds to me like you had an excellent weekend. We had tropical storm Barry run through here so it was a wet one for us.

Sounds like a weekend well spent.
The self portrait is stunning!
I think putting your hand to your chin is what REALLY gives it punch!
