It Happened

It finally snowed in Denver! This is the first significant snow fall we have had in Denver and on the plains in 2006. There was only about two inches on the driveway so we are still below normal.

It’s been so long since we had snow many people forgot how to drive in it. On my commute this morning, there were three cars off the road and seven accidents. But, most people were driving slow and cautiously.

The big news is not the snow but the cold temperatures. The high today will be in the low twenties. While I never thought I would say these words, it might be a good day to stay inside and work on reports and budgets.

Looks pretty! I won't get to see snow this year. We will get down to the higher 20's tomorrow night. That should be our last winter day for the year. We had four in November.
Why don't you just do that, stay inside and work on reports and budgets? A good idea.

Looks beautiful to me! I love the snow, but then I don't have to drive in it... just visit and play!

It is pretty. We may get some this weekend.

Good idea to stay inside and just enjoy the beauty from the window.

We're supposed to get a foot or two of the stuff starting tomorrow. I'd rather not at this point, but unfortunately I've got no pull in this arena. *G*

Holy Cow. Two inches of snow in Broomfield, and now light snow in Nebraska in Feb. All this wierd weather. Must be the global warming caused by the Bush Administration.
