So Let It Be Written
Four years, five months, and twenty-seven days ago, I put up my first post. My blog and that first post were done at the urging of Cliff. I called him when I posted it. His was the first and only comment I got. But, I kept posting and discovered some great blogging friends.
A lot has happened since then. My blog has resulted in four books, which I am very happy with. I have discovered some great blogs I enjoy reading. Blogstock ’08 was held and a good time was had by all. I have also created a list of several hundred stories, which still need to be written, and a few more book ideas I would like to see published.
It’s been an exciting four years, five months, and twenty-seven days. Then there is today. Today is my 500th post.

Hey Ralph, congratulations on that Blog 500! Just the day after the Indianapolis 500 was run. You are in good company.
I envy you in having several hundred stories to write. My list got lost at WalMart last year, it must have had about 20 plus.
And then, that first post. If you will moderate it, I left one for you so Cliff's won't be all alone.
That first blog was good. Mine was short. Cliff was my second commenter, Rachel was first.
And, Cliff got me started too!
Small world. Keep up your good work, I will learn more yet from you.

Good job! I've read every single one of them -and they were all terrific.
I wish I could award you the same $3M purse the winner of the Indianapolis 500 received. I will treat you to a bottle of milk the next time I see you.

I'm glad to consider you a friend. One that I would have never met outside of the blog world. And I think that is pretty cool.

It sure was great meeting you at Blogstock!! I just posted a Blogstock remembrance! I hope others will this year, as I love remembering it and seeing everyone's photos! Mine is early, but that's okay.
